Ara holds the Wine and Spirit Educational Trust’s Diploma in Wines and Spirits, and has earned the Certified Wine Educator title granted by the Society of Wine Educators. He serves on the faculty of the Boston University Wine Program, and is a Board member of the Boston Sommelier Society, and in 2020 he joined the Master of Wine program.
Our video tasting series offer you the opportunity to gain an insight into our Armenian wines before you buy them, to learn not just what they taste like, but how and where they were produced and the winemakers behind them. If you’re new to Armenian wine, are curious about our brands and varieties or simply looking for a partner to sip along with, we invite you to join as Ara shares his knowledge and passion for Armenian wines through our virtual tastings.

Zulal means pure in Armenian. These wines aim to express the purest characteristics of Armenian indigenous grape varieties. High elevation viticulture, extreme climate, and volcanic soil give these wines their distinct character.

The first traditional method sparkling wine crafted from Armenian Indigenous varieties. Grapes are sourced from high elevation vineyards 1750m above sea level grown in volcanic soil. These are the highest vineyards in Armenia and among the highest vineyards in the world to produce Methode Traditionelle.

Oshin makes limited quantities; barrel-fermented Voskehat for white and barrel-matured Areni for red.
